Born and raised in Ontario, Dr. Marie Sarabusky completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario) She went on to pursue graduate studies at Western University where she completed a MSc in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Sarabusky then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo graduating with honours. One of the highlights of her time as a student was travelling to Haiti to provide eye care to over 1300 patients in need.
Dr. Sarabusky is excited to provide eye care to patients of all ages. She has a special interest in ocular disease gaining much of her knowledge working alongside some of the top ophthalmologists in Southwestern Ontario. She has considerable knowledge in managing diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and dry eye disease. She also specializes in myopia control for children with nearsightedness or myopia with the goal of protecting your child from a prescription-heavy future.
In her spare time, Dr. Sarabusky can be found exploring her new home of the Fraser Valley with her partner where she is always looking for a new hiking spot to tackle.
